Miss Universe 2015 emcee Steve Harvey finally revealed what really happened during the announcement of the winner of the renowned pageant last January, a report on News To Go on Monday said.
In an interview with "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," Harvey said he heard a man's voice whisper over his ear piece to immediately read what's written on the card he was holding bearing the name Colombia.
The man allegedly even told him they will just rectify the situation with media the following day.
Harvey however did not agree and immediately went back on stage to announce the rightful winner, Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines.
The Miss Universe crown earlier placed on the head of Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, was removed and transferred to Wurtzbach by Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega. —KG, GMA News
