President Duterte to implement 24/7 Hotline on August

911 Davao is considered one of the best emergency response team in the Philippines, or maybe in the World.
The most awaited 24/7 emergency hotline like the 911 in Davao City is coming in the whole country this coming August.
According to Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, the Duterte administration would implement the hotline “8888” to receive phone calls from the people who wants to complaint something about the government agencies and other branches of government.

“l am setting up a complaint office, 24 hours, manned by 10 operators, covering the entire country. The number will be 8888. They can report to me any complaint and there will be a manager who will redirect the complaint to the proper office,” President Duterte said during the televised Cabinet meeting.
The government also would change the current emergency hotline 117 to 911, like the emergency number in Davao City.
911 already saved thousands of lives in Davao City because of it’s very fast response to the people who call them for emergency purposes.
911 Service is also free of charges and even the members of the emergency response team cannot accept any amount to the people who needs their help.
Netizens are also thankful that Duterte administration will implement emergency hotline like this because the typhoon season is already near.
