Alvarez: Investigate De Lima's Connection on Drug Lords; Files Petition in Congress.

After being accused of rubbing elbows with the notorious high-profile inmate Jaybee Sebastian by former Justic Sec. Calida, Senator Leila De Lima is yet to face another heat as Davao Del Norte Representative Pantaleon Alvarez plans to file a resolution in the COngress to have the senator investigated.

This is still due to the expansion of corruption in BuCor that allegedly happened during her time as the secretary of Department of Justice.

In an interview with Alvarez after the meeting of Partido-Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan, he said that De Lima needs to fix her connection with the drug operations.

"Let us investigate why during the term of now Senator De Lima, nag-proliferate 'yung illegal drugs sa loob ng Bilibid, 'yun dapat ang imbestigahan. I will file a resolution para imbestigahan yan, "he said.

Meanwhile, Calida has earlier said the same thing. Quoting from his statement, he said:
