In the Chinese Zodiac, 2017 will be the Year of the Fire Rooster. According to Feng Shui expert Maritess Allen via SocialTrendsPH, 2017 will be a year full of opportunities for industries that possess either the water or metal elements.
Allen has a specific message for President Rodrigo Duterte. She said that there will be lots of challenges for the president and was quoted as saying, "Rooster is a metal element in nature. It's like a sword, like a sharp object. So there is going to be a lot of backstabbing, even your good friends will turn against you."
The Feng Shui expert said that March will be a hazardous month; therefore, the president must be wary of his associates during this time. She also stated that people burn under the Year of the Rabbit must be alert as well as their sign conflicts with the Rooster.
Allen said that these challenges can only be overcome by preparation and confidence. She stated that in Feng Shui, all things in the house for this year must face towards the southeast, where the prosperity star is located. Allen also claimed that the middle of the house is a strong point of luck.
Despite all these prediction, Allen said that these are only references, for success is derived from constant hard work and dedication. According to Allen, those burn under the Year of the Tiger, the Ox, the Dragon, the Snake, and the Rabbit will have good fortune this year.
