Camp of presumptive president Rodrigo Duterte asked the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Region 6 to submit a list of drug personalities in Western Visayas. Reports from Nony Basco on ABS-CBN.
During Duterte’s presidential campaign, he promised to wipe out crime and illegal drugs in three to six months if elected president. Duterte vows to kill drug pushers, even his own children if proven they are into narcotics.
Duterte’s camp also said the president-elect is planning to implement a nationwide liquor ban, which prohibits buying and selling of alcoholic beverages during 1:00 am-6:00 am, to help curb criminality.
“The reason he has this liquor ban (in Davao) is because we have to work the next day, all the (restaurant) staff have to work, as well as the customers,” Duterte’s spokesman, Peter Lavina had said.
