MAASIN CITY- Last Friday marked the eleventh day that ten year old AJ Elmsdrical Lusterios Morales, a resident of barangay Badiang, Maasin City has been missing and the city police still haven’t the faintest idea what happened to him.
The boy’s godmother Novie Resus, the spokesperson of AJ’s mother Elma Morales told SLT that AJ had asked permission from his mother to watch the basketball game beside the national highway and had not returned since.
She also said they had already asked the city police and the Department of Social Welfare and Development office here for help, and had even posted flyers with the child’s photograph and his family and city police phone numbers, but so far nothing has happened.
According to his sister Litch Morales they had also conducted a house-to-house search of homes in the neighborhood.
Meanwhile, all sorts of rumors have been circulating in the province which assume (a) the child had been kidnapped for money, (b) had been abducted by the notorious body parts syndicate, and (c) had been the victim of foul play for still unknown reasons.
