Jonathan Aguilar Garcia, widely known as Chokoleit, got the internet in a frenzy when a video of him kissing a fresh-faced, handsome guy circulated not just on video-sharing platform YouTube, but even on social media sites like Facebook.
The video is one minute long and it showed the comedienne caught in a passionate, make-out session with an unnamed man. It was uploaded by a certain Facebook user named Aliah Ferrer Vasquez on Sunday, February 5,2017.
Lionheart TV reported that it reached 1.7 million views, with more than 34 thousand comments, around 26 thousand shares, and over 22 thousand likes. The footage was taken in a bar. Some netizens commented that the video gave them hope and inspired them, while others noted the outrageousness of the content.
Despite the mixed comments he received, Chokkoleit was obviously very happy with the moment. In fact, he even shared on his Facebook account: "Kiss me and don't you dare fall in love with me...." with a kiss emoji, a lip emoji, and a laughing-with-tears emoji.
Chokoleit is from Davao City and gained recognation when he played the role of Dugong in ABS-CBN's fantasy series 'Marina,' which starred Claudine Barretto, Rafael Rosell, and Cherie Gill. He is a comedian, actor, and a TV host.
A few of Chokoleit's appearances were in the 2006 TV serie's 'Kampanerang Kuba' as Otlum, in 'Volta' as Denden, in 'Aryana' as Dikya, in the 2011 remake of 'Mara Clara' as CG, in 'Juan Dela Cruz' as Lorelei Cortez, and in Star Cinema's 'Etiquette for Mistresses' as Bailey.
Chokoleit's latest project is with GMA's 'Dear Uge,' an afternoon comedy-anthology show that stars Eugene Domingo and Divine Aucina. It's about a variety store owner who hosts a web show titled 'Dear Uge' that features different funny love stories.
