READ: WAR GAMES IN SOUTH CHINA SEA: 6 Countries Participated To Show Their Power Against China

6 countries from around the world are going to be part of the war games that will take place in the South China Sea. This is to show opposition in matters of China claiming disputed territories without respect to official rulings.

Countries Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia agreed that they will do a 3 week exercise which is called "Exercise Bersama Lima" in which they will train army, air and navy force.

The Five Power Defense Arrangement Military Pact demands that participating countries should communicate with each other if ever Singapore and Indosea will be invaded.

The Arbitration Court has already ruled that China does not have any right to territorial claims. But China ignored the ruling and still sends vast amout of Chinese Coast Guard Vessels to look out in the regions.

A remark coming from the Council of Foreign Relation says, "The risk of conflict in the South China Sea is significant. China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and the Philippines have competing territorial and jurisdictional claims, particularly over rights to exploit the regions's possibly extensive reserves of oil and gas. Freedom of navigation in the region is also a contentious issue, especially between the United States and China over the right of U.S military vessels to operate in China's two-hundred-mile exclusive economic zone."
