Duterte News: Shoot them' if Leyte mayor, son refuse to surrender

Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr and his son Kerwin Espinosa are associated with inclusion in unlawful drug trafficking and cossetting drug rulers, as indicated by a MalacaƱang public statement on Monday, August 1.

In the event that Espinosa and his son don't surrender by the due date, they will be chased around law authorities. On the off chance that they are found and they oppose capture, police have been requested to "shoot without hesitation," said the Palace.

President Rodrigo Duterte approached the mayor of Albuera town in Leyte and his son to surrender to government authorities inside 24 hours or face the results of being connected to the unlawful drug trade.

"A request of 'shoot without hesitation' will be given in the event that they oppose and imperil the lives of capturing cops," peruses the announcement.



Two bodyguards and 3 workers of Mayor Espinosa were captured on Thursday, July 28, amid a purchase bust operation, where police discovered P1.9 million worth of shabu in a tennis court close to Espinosa's home, as indicated by an Inquirer report. 

One of the workers was the objective of the operation after police got reports he was offering shabu. 

Espinosa has not yet approach with respect to these claims. He has obviously been on leave subsequent to the week of July 18, as indicated by his staff. 

Out of appreciation for his crusade guarantee to smother drugs in 3 to 6 months, Duterte has openly named charged medication suspects, including 5 police officers and 3 Chinese medication masters.
