Roxas Relaxes With Family After The Heated Elections!

Defeated presidential candidate Mar Roxas has retreated to the mountain resort city of Baguio both to celebrate his 59th birthday and to finally rest after a grueling campaign.
Dressed in a loose gray shirt and shorts, and with his broadcaster wife Korina Sanchez and only son Paolo by his side, the former interior secretary thanked his supporters who called themselves the "silent majority."
"Muli, nagpapasalamat ako sa inyong lahat at naalala ninyo ako. Malapit na tayo maging senior citizen pero kita niyo naman, camping pa rin," he said in a video posted on his Facebook page on Friday.
Roxas apologized for skipping a birthday gathering prepared by his supporters at the family-owned Gateway Mall in Quezon City.
"Marami po ang ating damdamin pero parating nangingibabaw ang pasasalamat sa inyong lahat na nagtiwala at nagbigay ng suporta at talaga namang nagmahal sa akin at sa ating bansa. Maraming, maraming salamat. Mabuhay po kayo." he said.
Roxas conceded to Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday, after he trailed tough-talking presumptive president by six million votes in unofficial tallies. He said he wished Duterte success.
''For our country, we've had a peaceful, successful transfer of power," he said. "It is not about me. It is not about anyone. It is about how we love our country, and how we all do all that we can for her. She's the only one."
