The incoming president Rodrigo Duterte made a strong statement that he will not be letting his friends affect the decisions that he will be making.
This statement got out after his close friend Pastor Apollo Quiboloy complained about being out of the selection of the cabinet members.
“My loyalty to my friends ends where my loyalty to my country [begins]. Wala 'yung usapan na we will have to... kunsultahin kita. I decide alone,” he said.
Quiboloy said to the ABS-CBN News team that the men of Duterte created a wall between the pastor and the presumptive president.
